It's about time!

So, I had to step away from my blog for a while and now I have decided it is time to work on it seriously. Time to get back on track! Time to get all of those unfinished projects done! Time to work on a Project Life album! My first objective of the new year was to get my craft room organized and functional. I plan to have it finished by this weekend, so stayed tuned! (and wish me luck. I need it!)

I love the applet Wordle so I thought I'd share it with ya'll! It is so cool... You can put in various words and it produces a word bubble for you. You can also enter your blog address and it will give you a Wordle using the words in your blog...

Well, since it is coming upon the holiday weekend, I will share with you this great site that has free clipart and vintage images. It is pretty cool. I plan on using several of the images for cards and scrapbook pages. Enjoy!

So, I guess I have reluctantly entered the world of blogging. lol. I named this blog Crafty Country because that is who I am in a nutshell! I love living in the country and I am always "junking" as I look for things that I can turn into something else. I also scrapbook, make cards, and love anything old, antique, or just plain weird! I have a very (I stress the VERY) eclectic style. I enjoy putting things together that normally would not exist cohesively. So, this blog will be a treasury of my finds, designs, and any other weird items I run across! So, I hope you enjoy!

And to start you off, here is an altered clipboard that I made in the past. Originally it was an old stained legal size clipboard. Altered it became wall art for my daughter's grandma's office.
